A bouquet of hop aroma including notes of grapefruit, orange, fresh picked flowers, and a light resiny dankness. A fairly simple malt profile allows the hops to do the talking. A combination of four “C” hops provide a big citrus forward flavor with floral and piney undertones.
Huge aroma from the generous dry hopping of Citra. Notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon and a resiny dankness. A full bodied IPA with a profile including orange, pine, grapefruit, honey and slightly spicy hop notes. Very drinkable for a high ABV IPA. Most of the perceived notes of honey come from the honey malt used, not the honey added during the boil. Most of the honey added during the boil ferments out. Use of wildflower honey gives the beer subtle differences from batch to batch as we can’t choose what the bees feed on. High in IBUs, but very smooth on the palate.
Aroma of a subtle, malty sweetness. Flavors of fresh baked bread, hints of wheat, and light citrusy undertones from the Cascade hops. Medium body and carbonation. Overall, a Blonde Ale with more character than is typical for the style. We like to call it a “Brewer’s Blonde” given it’s full flavored profile and higher than typical ABV.
Aromas of dark chocolate and roast with a touch of lactose sweetness. Flavor follows suit with a prominent, robust roastiness, rich chocolate and slightly sweet finish. Full bodied with a creamy profile. Low in ABV, but full in flavor.
